Whew, it was quite a week! Big happenings. We hope everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving in whatever way you celebrated. Here’s last week’s A Week in Our Small Business:
As I mentioned last week, when our web hosting company upgrades our account to the newest version of php, our site will disappear. Well, it’s happening faster than we would like, so we had basically about two weeks to completely rebuild our site. I’ve been up until 2:30am pretty much every night the past week designing and building it. It will launch in the next few days. Shannon and I are pretty excited to have a new look and new functionality! We hope the transition will be very smooth, but bear with us if any issues crop up. We’ll be sending out an email to all account holders with instructions to reset your password. The rewards program is changing slightly, too, because our new platform has different software, but all rewards points will carry over, and everyone with an account will get a bonus (worth an instant $5 coupon) for account activation. Let us know what you think once it switches over!
We made ABC News’ 2013 Made in USA Gift Ideas list! Check out the other Made in USA companies here.
The sign went up in our store! Hooray!
We almost had a heart attack when it appeared our fabric mill hadn’t even started on our order (which we expected to have shipped by now). No worries, but let’s just say that it’s a small miracle any time a brand actually receives a shipment of finished garments.
Our sales have gone way up, and the number of people following us on Facebook has increased by 50% in the past two weeks. Thank you, thank you!! We have so many ideas for new styles to offer, and can’t wait until more people know about us so that we are able to do the variety of production runs we envision for our company. We’re still tiny, but are getting closer.
